Terms

The terms of sale.

Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, write and ask, and we will explain it rather than pointing at a clause.

Who you are buying from

Habeeya is a trading name of Geokits Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number TODO_COMPANY_NUMBER. Registered office: TODO_REGISTERED_OFFICE_ADDRESS.

Payhip acts as our checkout and delivers the files. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your contract for the books themselves is with us.

What you are buying

A term is sold as a set of PDF files, currently Standing, which comprises the child’s book and the parent’s guide together with the printable material at the back. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, in pounds sterling, and any tax due in your country is calculated and shown before you confirm.

The files are delivered immediately after payment, by a download link and by email. If a link expires or a file will not open, write to salam@habeeya.com and we will send it again.

What you may do with the files

Use them with the children in your own household, for as long as you like, on as many of your own devices as you like. Print them as many times as you need. Lend the printed copy to a friend the way you would lend a book.

What we ask you not to do

Please do not upload the files to a group, a drive, a forum or a channel, and please do not resell them or pass the PDF itself on. Each file carries the email address it was bought with. We would much rather nobody ever had to be told this, and if somebody has asked you for a copy, send them here instead and we will sort something out for them.

Teaching more than one family

If you run a class, a study circle or a homeschool group, the single household licence does not cover it. Write and ask. There is a proper answer and it is not expensive.

Refunds

Thirty days, no reason needed, and you keep the files. The detail is on the refunds page and it takes a minute to read.

What we do not promise

These books are a teaching resource written for families. They are not a substitute for a qualified teacher, and where a matter is one the scholars differ on, the books say so and send you to your own scholar rather than settling it for you. Nothing here is legal, medical or financial advice of any kind.

We do our utmost to be accurate and we correct errors quickly when they are found. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us, which is the ordinary position and not an attempt to escape anything. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes, and the law that applies

If these terms change, the version that applies to your purchase is the one that was published on the day you bought. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, which does not remove any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
